Happy Holidays and a Grand 2013 to You All....

My sweet Hub and I just had a most wonderful Christmas, Solstice and Hanukkah time with our 2 children and our friends...Our holidays are a mix of cultures and traditions that are somewhat traditional but shaped  to meet our beliefs in the wonder of the season. Our tradition of making chicken Mole started 30 years ago living in Latin America and has continued to this day. This year we had 18 of us gathered for the sharing. It was a wonderful night before Xmas event enjoyed by all....

These photos were taken before friends arrived....This was the largest number of people I have had for an indoor sit down meal in this house and I was so happy to have pulled it off!!!

Below is my sweet hub and our 2 finest works of art Gabe and Cintia at Xmas dinner - just the 4 of us for this meal...They were all good sports...
I received some Crackers (a British Tradition I believe) from my Secret Santa at work and these crowns were a part of the contents of the crackers...God save the queen type of thing!?! If anyone out there knows this custom you can fill me in....

Wow!!!
The Holidays are nearly all over and my 2 dears are back home, a New Year awaits with hopefully good tidings and cheer....
Much sweetness to you all out there in Bloglandia and wishing you all a superb 2013!!!
